Commissions

With over 20 years photographic experience covering a range of formats and processes, I am drawn to black and white film photography, specifically medium and large formats. I develop all film in my studio darkroom based in Brisbane and take great care in selecting images for darkroom printing on silver gelatin paper.

I have a special interest in urban and rural landscapes that are shaped by human and natural forces, specifically disaster recovery and mitigation sites. If you are looking for photographic images for your infrastructure or environmental project, I am available for black and white fine art commissions. Using a 4x5 camera, or a medium format camera where access may be difficult, the quality and resolution is unsurpassed while giving a fine art feel that digital processes only attempt to replicate. Negatives are then used in a traditional though ecologically conscious darkroom to create silver gelatin prints that possess an archival quality lasting in excess of 100 years.
