Kym Renay Dibb (b. 1981) is an Australian photographer and darkroom printmaker. Her project work is centred around place identity and exploring social connections to landscapes. Guided by lyrical and post-documentary approaches, she is interested in the changing nature of places from either human or ecological forces. Her practice extends to printing with gelatin silver paper where she uses ecologically responsible processes, favouring the lightest footprint for archival quality where possible. Kym works from her darkroom studio based in Meanjin/Brisbane, and pays respect to Yuggera, Turrbal, and Quandamooka land and peoples.
